Rewind: AU a ‘guaranteed’ visit

FOUR-STAR OT WILL VISIT AUBURN: 4-star offensive tackle Avery Young from Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High plans to go on most of his official visits before making a decision. While he’s high on both Florida and Miami, Young knows three out-of-state schools that he will definitely officially visit.

Young is a very athletic offensive tackle.

“My guaranteed schools are Oklahoma, Georgia and Auburn, my three guaranteed schools,” Young told 247Sports. “I’ve been to Florida already so I don’t know if I’m going to put them in that visit for the top five.”

ALEXANDER MAKES HIS CHOICE: 4-star offensive guard Vadal Alexander from Buford (Ga.) High committed to LSU over Auburn and Alabama Monday. Alexander officially visited all three of his finalists this fall including LSU last weekend. He’s a December graduate.

“Going into this past weekend’s trip to LSU, Auburn was leading,” Alexander told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “But I went to LSU and it just clicked for me. It was one of those things that I just knew when I left from Louisiana on Sunday evening. It was the atmosphere, the coaches, and everything. There was nothing negative about LSU, It was all positive.”

High is looking at three out-of-state schools in Mississippi State, Florida and Tennessee. He should have a decision soon.

"I hope to make it in the next couple of weeks and get it over, so I can be focused on being a leader and taking my team to a championship," Brown told The Birmingham News.
