Auburn the ‘hot school’ for TE

AUBURN IS THE HOT SCHOOL FOR 4-STAR TE: 4-star tight end Milan Richard from Calvary Day in Savannah, Ga., already has more than 15 offers that includes Georgia, Clemson, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Florida State, Oklahoma, North Carolina and UCLA. Auburn hasn’t offered but is showing increasing interest for Richard, who would project as an H-back for the Tigers.

Richard is a potential H-back at Auburn.

“They are kind of the hot school showing a lot of interest,” Richard told 247Sports. “Oklahoma offered me recently, like three or four days ago. They are the most recent offer, but Auburn is the hot school that is talking to me.”

AUBURN AMONG FAVORITES FOR 4-STAR CB: 4-star cornerback Wesley Green from Martin Luther King in Lithonia, Ga., still has Clemson as his leader. But five SEC schools -- South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn -- are close behind. He will likely hold off on a decision until his senior season.

"They're SEC," Green told 247Sports. "They play dog, like dog-hard football. That's what I like about them. And their defense is really good. That's what I want -- a good defense."

3-STAR SAFETY TAKING HIS TIME WITH RECRUITING: 3-star safety/linebacker Alfred Dickens from Olive Branch (Miss.) High has offers from Ole Miss and Mississippi State. He attended Auburn’s Junior Day Feb. 23 and said the Tigers along with LSU are recruiting him hard.

"I am enjoying the process right now and it is good to build bonds with coaches," Dickens told 247Sports. "It is a big decision and a decision you want to make sure about. So I will probably wait until my senior season or after my senior seasons to decide."
