Oxon Hill (Md.) Potomac ornerback Ronald Darby wrapped up his official visits with a stop at Clemson this past weekend and will use the next week to come to a final decision.
The five-star recruit and former Notre Dame commit confirmed with Jason Sapp of BlueandGold.com that he'll make his decision known on National Signing Day (Feb. 1). The announcement will be televised on ESPN Live.
Darby, who also plans on running track at the collegiate level, says that the schools remaining on his radar are the ones that he took an official visits to - Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland and Notre Dame - by responding with "yes" when asked via text.
Heading into this week Auburn and Florida State were listed as having the edge on Notre Dame with the Seminoles considered as the leader. The Irish are still expected to visit him this week.
The Under Armour All-American is ranked by 247Sports as the top cornerback in the land, the No. 2 player in Maryland and the nation's No. 16 overall recruit.
