Both AU commits in 2013 Top247

Both of Auburn’s commitments and a number of top early targets were included in the Top247 for 2013 rankings released on Tuesday.

Liner is a big early pickup for Auburn

Defensive tackle Dee Liner from Muscle Shoals (Ala.) High and linebacker Trey Johnson from Central Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Ga., both committed to Auburn this summer and project as two of the nation’s top overall prospects.

247Sports also handed out 5-star rankings to eight prospects including defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche from Grayson in Loganville, Ga., and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil from Columbia in Lake City, Fla., who are both top Auburn targets.

In addition to Liner, there were 10 prospects from the state of Alabama in the initial Top247 including quarterback Jeremy Johnson from Carver in Montgomery, athlete Cam Luper from Auburn High, wide receiver Earnest Robinson from Pinson Valley in Pinson and wide receiver DeAndre Woods from Clay-Chalkville in Clay.
