The plays were there. QB struggled. Tight end must block better. Still too many penalties on the line of scrimmage. But one hell of a coaching job by our head coach. That was pro esk coaching people. The time out was called because the official started his set clock and Florence was hurt and needed more time to get across the field.
Defensively T.Bell sits. Too many defenders leading with their head and leaving their feet. Offensively, if QB tucks and runs.he should never leave his feet. OM needs to continue to work on running straight. The jet sweep has gotta go unless it's done like a counter tre or draw. D tackles still need to learn that the play doesn't stop until the whistle blows.
overall a great job on defense, sub par on offense, and good on special teams. Getting there all around.
Good game overall! I wanna see J Wallace throw the rock now that we burned his redshirt. Put some extra extra motivation on Kiehl to see if it clicks, cause honestly we win tonight with a decent quarterback. The protection was there. Only minimum whiffs by our line against a great D front.
That timeout was confusing, thanks for explaining it. The real killer to me was J Evans missed tackle on 3rd and long on LSU's last drive. If he makes that tackle we have enough time to work our way down for a field goal instead of trying to make Frazier bomb it the last drive.
