Auburn has a chance to hire one of the best coaches in the nation in Bobby P. But Auburn dosent want to look bad with the PR>>>! So go ahead and hire Gus or Smart and take yet another chance! People make mistakes every day! People get second chances everyday!! Coach P can turn things around as soon as he steps on campus. What are we thinking. Why do we continue to make mistakes. Why do we choose to be second fiddle to alabama, lsu, ect.. I want a coach who can win and win every yr. NOT just every now and then. I hope Gouge and JJ open there eyes and see they got the COACH right in from of them but are to afraid of the PR to pull the trigger. I know when we do something right and thats when the bammers are screaming that coach P. would be a terrible coach...They would hate us to hire him because they know he would drive Saban crazy! And for everyone that thinks we dont care what bama does or think, well you better we got to beat them every yr to go to the SEC Championship as long as Saban is there!!! I know this isnt going to be popular with the intigrity ppl. BUT you better realize that a sub par hire will do far worse that a lil PR airtime on espn for a few weeks will do!!!! I love Auburn but we are on the verge of making the biggest mistake we could make and it will hurt for a long time. I hope im wrong i really do i want to see auburn be a force for a long time, but these two guys isnt the answer. Hire a proven winner and a great coach in Bobby P.!!!! War Damn Eagle!! AM20
And when we go 8-4,7-5, and bobby is at southern miss turning them around in a yr. dont go jumping on a plane for him to come save us then....Just saying.
