He's a partner in a $10M spec home at Lake Burton. Don't know if his partners are still solvent, but if they get $10M for that house, I'll eat my hat. They'd be lucky to get half that.

It is a gulf coast shopping center, not a residential house. Everything that was in the original post is accurate except Saban isn't leaving Bama because of it. In fact, it may cause him to stay longer. It did hit a couple of big time Bama boosters in the pocketbook though. So we can take comfort in that.
