I am thinking about taking the family to Gulf Shores for the kids Spring Break next year. When I look online for rentals, it breaks Gulf Shores into sections (east shore, west shore, central, etc). Any tips on what the features are for each area and where I should focus?
Don't forget Orange Beach...less crowds. Same great beaches.

Go to orange beach, perdido key, or Ft. Morgan. Right next to Gulf Shores. Especially during spring break. If you want to get away from all the crowds go to Ft. Morgan. Gulf Shores has more cheaper hotels, so more younger crowd.
Lol at the people saying Orange Beach isn't crowded. Y'all must have not been there the past 5 years. West Beach or West Gulf Shores has a few of the smaller condos and a lot more houses to rent than to the East which is mainly the bigger Condos. Orange beach has most of the bigger condos down here and not really any houses to rent. Ono island would have some but they're probably more expensive than the houses on west beach. Fort Morgan is nice and secluded. It's a 25 mile road that has houses and a group of 3 condos called the beach club. The beaches are less crowded down there, but there are only 2 or 3 small restaurants and no grocery stores. Def quieter than Orange Beach or gulf shores.
West Beach Boulavard anything beyond 2100 address is what I love!
