Anyone know where I can get some real good BBQ in the Ozark area? I'd prefer for it to be as close to Ozark as possible, and not Troy or Dothan. I'll be leaving North GA and arriving to Ozark Saturday morning shortly before the start of the AU-MSU game and have got a craving for a good BBQ lunch. Webb's is pretty good on 231, but I was wondering if there was something closer. Thanks in advance and War Eagle!
Just north of Ozark there are two places on 231. Country's and just across the street is Hawgs and Dogs. I like the later best.
AUsome! Looks like it's across from Larry's right after Roy Parker Road - which isn't bad, but I was looking for something a little different. Rickey Stokes likes it, so it must be good. :)
War Damn Eagle!
Yeah, it is across the street from Larry's not Country's. Where was my mind. I seem to be wondering that a lot lately!!!!!!!!! If you are in the mood for a sausage dog they have a monster. If you wanted to go a little further 231 BBQ just north of Midland City is great. It looks like a dump but great BBQ. Have not been there in quite a few years but I have always loved it.
Excellent recommendation. Thank you sir. It was what I was hoping to find! Webbs (231) near Midland City is great too - just not quite close enough for today's early game. I will be a repeat customer to Hawgz.
Glad you enjoyed it. I sure didn't enjoy the game
