  • Rivalries aside, this is an incredibly tragic time for you, our SEC brothers and sisters at Auburn, and I know the entire TigerNation stands with you, offering our prayers and support.

God bless you and War Eagle to you.

  • War Eagle, my friend.

First time I have ever said that, but I believe it is certainly appropriate this morning.

  • Please ban guns from ALL college campuses. What happened at Columbine, Virginia Tech and now Auburn is absolutely unacceptable. These are college kids.

The administration at Auburn and all other colleges MUST ban guns from campuses.

I have said the same thing all morning on facebook. I also posted this on the aufamily.com board.

I have several friends that are Auburn fans, and my heart just breaks for them.

Sending prayers from Mississippi for everyone

  • There are no amount of words to ease the loss to the families of these individuals and to the Auburn nation.
The LSU Tiger Nation stands with you during this most horrible of events.

May the victims rest in everlasting peace and may your outstanding university family stand together and heal together.

Bless them Lord. We ask You to look down and give the friends and families of those fallen solace and understanding. May the shocking pain
of this day be eased by time and the knowledge that their loved ones are in Your hands and Your house.

    Fly high, War Eagles...

  • The Lord answer you in time of distress; the name of the God of Jacob defend you! May he send you help from the sanctuary, from Sion may he sustain you. May he remember all your offerings and graciously accept your holocaust. May he grant you what is in your heart and fulfill your every plan. May we shout for joy at your victory and raise the standards in the name of our God. The Lord grant all of your requests!

    Ps. 20:1-6
Prayers sent from Louisiana and Texas.
Today we are all War Eagle!

  • This didn't happen on the campus.
And, weapons ARE banned on campus.

  • Thank you, Rocketman!

And does anyone here really believe that the guy who shot these kids would obey that ban anyway.

  • I attended Auburn and graduated in 2004, never locked my door (I am a female) because always so safe. The point isn't about gun control (eventhough they are banned on campus), the point is about a horrible tragedy with no reason. The shooter could obviously care less about human life and that is what we are mourning. This to me only emphasizes, guns don't kill people, people kill people. Nothing would have stopped this man. Thanks for the genuine concern and words from everyone, I pray for those who personally knew all the victims and my AU family.
