  • I'm watching the SEC preview on ESPNU and apparentlY Auburn doesn't win 8 but that's not surprising. The thing that got me was the fact Auburn don't have size at the RB position. Yes I know OMac is 170ish but isn't Blakey and grant 200+ with speed?

That's still not big by SEC Comparison. The bigger backs are around 230 or so. Doesn't really matter either way. I'm just ready for the season to begin so everyone will quit scoping these meaningless pre season polls and articles. Nothing against you at all Channon, I think you are a good poster, but everyone in general has been getting their panties in a wad over preseason sayings and predictions.

All in all I don't blame anyone for their doubt of Auburn. We haven't done anything to prove them wrong yet honestly. They all said AU would take a huge hit after that 2010 season, and we did. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Auburn will get no respect until they start winning on a consistent basis; ergo at least 3 straight 10 win seasons. It isn't just us, no team is going to get a lot of coverage and praise until they win consistently outside of the normal blowhard teams like Notre Dame who gets recognition for absolutely nothing.

So right Cola, I am done with the talk. I am ready to smash mouth and create an outcome. Tired of reading what some middle aged man thinks sitting behind a desk or on a sports station. I prefer they say they have no idea versus saying we only go 6-6. The countdown has ended and the week has arrived. Let's root our boys on to some national respect or eat crow.
