This is an ignorant comment. There are no rules against hair styles in the public school system. If anything a private school would have more authority over his hair style. This topic has alreay gotten way more attention than it desserves on AUC.

Other kids on the team (caucasians) are allowed to wear their hair long without any issue - - - why they should treat Troop's son differently is the issue...... No doubt I agree with the Taylor's in this case....

I'm betting that he is doing it because of who he is not what he is and using daddys name to try to sway this thing.

And I'll say what I said previously, Auburn High's athletic director should've never let it get this far. When you have multi-sport atheletes in a public or private school, you have a united front with one standard NOT a standard by sport. This is unfortunate and was avoidable.

I still want to know: If Coach Chizik has a dress code, and I believe he does, how is that different from this respected high school coach. Maybe he is wrong about making hair an issue. Is Coach Chizik wrong about making something similer an issue? I thing Trooper Taylor is great, and my emotional bias is to think he is right. The last thing I want is for him to give in if he is right and it is best for his son, regardless of his position with AU football.
