Gus Malzahn and his wife played a large roll in the preferential treatment of certain players during their time at Auburn. The program has accountability and preferential treatment issues and I don't see how how you bring back one of the key individuals that created those problems. If this committee hires Malzahn knowing what they know it will be a far worse hire than 5-19.

Malzahn probably will get the job, because I so adamantly oppose him.

I think Malzahn would only be a slight upgrade over Chizik. I don't think he would be any better than Chizik at discipline and evaluating talent. He may be better at the x's and o's , but way too many unknowns for him to take over. JMO.

Gus is where he should be right now. We don't need to try and see if he is good enough. We need a proven winner not another question mark. If the committee and Dr G make this hire. I am not very interested in watching the football team next year. Just not impressed if that is the best they can freakin come up with. But as they say lossers are as lossers do!
