i really don't care what a coach does on his own time and lets be honest if that bike accident happened in auburn the girl wouldn't have been on the report and he would still be the coach and i firmly believe he is very much in the mix for the job regardless of past mistakes

I have replied with this same statement to the same question that you just asked but I havent gotten a response yet...

If you have ever changed jobs in your career were you more concerned with it being convienent for your old boss or your new boss? Also, it is my opinion that the Falcons didnt care that he left with 3 games left in the season. I think they were upset that he left after one season. I think the reaction would have been the same had he coached the final three games. Look at the Dolphins reaction to Saban for evidence of this. Saban stuck it out until the end of the season, even going as far as lying directly to the media to cover it up and they still ran him out of town in the middle of the night.

The coaching change stuff doesn't really bother me. I think that's part of the business. I don't really like and certainly don't condone the dishonesty, but it kinda is what it is. The most alarming thing about Petrino's behavior to me is that he appears to have acted unethically in getting his girlfriend hired at Arkansas and then flat out lied about the situation to his boss. That kind of behavior exposes the university to a whole lot of bad stuff. I'm not saying he can't ever be a good coach somewhere, I'm just not convinced that now is the right time for Auburn to have a man with that on his resume at the helm. JMO.
