for those who havent seen it yet, and he was right last week b4 the ole miss game, so here goes:
Received this info from source within program
"Apparently a group of boosters have pooled enough money to pay the buyout on condition that Bobby Petrino is named the new head coach. Big mistake. But announcement Monday or Tuesday."
so, it could get interesting--he has been pretty spot on the whole way--he has a friend who is an asst on the staff--and not sure why he thinks its a big mistake but i say anything that gets chiz off the sidelines right now is a positive
of course all of u here can go to facebook and read it yourselves

First, this isn't even close to how things operate. Secondly, they will save the money on the buyout and wait until December 1 before any decision is made. Anything different is inaccurate speculation.

Firing the HC midseason seems like a big departure from normal. Also, technically, there is still a chance to avoid a losing season and become bowl eligible. It seems like firing a HC before a losing season was assured would be extraordinary.
If if the administration were inclined to fire Chizik midstream, I'd be surprised if it happened until at least after the A&M game.

jojo1... I'm not trying to be mean spirited, but if you think this team is going to a bowl, I've got a few acres in Kenya to sell you... comes with elephants.
I'm not saying Chizik should be fired in mid season, but it can't hurt this season... it's already beyond damage!
But, I sure don't want AU to hire BP. He quit the Falcons and then forced quit his next job in Arky. That's too much! But, I don't get a vote anyway, as far as I know. So, I'll patiently wait until Chizik is fired, or resigns, and the new guy is hired.

So, a firing has to be announced for a coach who's not working at another institution is contacted?
I think it can be worked out verbally, AU wait until Dec 1 and save the $.
Kids, (a) Changing speeds is more important than a curve ball (b) you play defense with your feet & (c) Wayne Hancock is the tits.
