Its close but there is a couple of people who can change that. He has been interviewed, though. Confirmed by 2 of my clients who are Auburn boosters. 1 allows the coaches to stay at his home on trips to and thru Birmingham. Personal freinds with Petrino and Tuberville, btw. Petrino IS the meanest sumb**ch on the list of candidates

If CBP is on the radar I find it extreamly odd that he has not heard ANYTHING from Auburn or its minions. Of course we could be playing the symantics game. In that case I could see him "personally" not hearing from Auburn. If hes a possibility he or his agent has been in contact. If not then he aint comin.

If BP has not been contacted yet it does not mean that he won't be. I still believe he will be the next Head Football Coach of the Auburn Tigers.

Why would a coach want to stay in bham when he can drive an hour south and be home, doesnt make since to me.
