After reviewing the rosters and depth charts of both teams this is the most certain analysis.
Clemsons very small opportunity of success will come from spreading us out and attacking the middle of the field. i believe it will be difficult for our linebackers to run in space with a few of their outside guys.
saying that, i do not beleive this game will be close. they are very concerned about both of their fronts.
we will hit them with two and three TE sets and demoralize the front seven with heavy doses of Mason and Onterio. We will bare down on their secondary with 6'4" 250+ TEs who will release free in play action due to a physical run attack. By the forth quarter, they will be out of gas and we will step on ours with mason and a fresh blakely.
having to hold off a steady rush from the likes of Ford and Lemonier would be difficult for any two tackles but may be especially tough for two undersized, inexperienced kids. young undersized guards will struggle with the depth and talent of our interior also. Boyd will be constantly harrassed. i look for them to turn the ball over 2-3 times with one of them being devastating.
we have two of the best kickers in college football. we will play with a short field and they will have to cover much of it without Sammy Watkins.
we will control the clock, tempo and physicality of the game. Because of this, we will dominate the trenches and be much more sound in the open field with fresh athletes. the fourth quarter will again be a nightmare for Dabo Squawkbeak.
