    If Chizik is retained, no member of the current staff should be fired! Heck, if Chiz is retained, might as well let the good times train keep sputtering down the track with the whole get-along gang on board!! In reality, if Chizik is retained, what would it really matter if the current staff is retained or fired? With Chiz at the helm, the results will more than likely be the same.

  • If CGC is retained he hires a new OC who is given the power to pick his offensive assistants, so some of them might be retained. If CBVG stays he is given the power to decide which defensive coaches stay and to hire any new defensive coaches needed. I think Jay Boulware is the only assistant who would definitely be retained.

    CGC would also have to give assurances he would let the coordinators handle their side of the ball.

    The biggest change would be the net change in the mix of assistants whose forte is coaching, with recruiting becoming the #2 priority. IMHO
