While your point is somewhat valid it only goes so far. None of those teams made as drastic of a change in their schemes - both offensively and defensively as Auburn did. Personel as well as learning curves were drastically different for Auburn. But the results can't necessarily be argued too much.

Seems to me our Defense is the best thing we have right now even though I keep seeing comments about being disappointed in them,

Also, Bama has the fewest returning starters of any team in the SEC. Some of the excuses on this board are laughable at best.

They've played 4 teams that are currently unranked. We've played 3 teams that are currently in the top 20.

Have fewer returning starters with loads of experience and having a very young team with a little experience but a lot of returners in new systems are still two different ends of the spectrum.

And before you say that bama has a new OC, let's face it, he was hired and had a playbook handed to him, not the other way around.

New coordinators but same schemes. You guys can dismiss it if it makes you feel better, but switching from the spread to a pro style offense has caused this kind of season almost everywhere it's been done.

i just realized something. Bama has a first year OC and are ranked #1. South Carolina has a first year DC and are #6. Florida has a first year OC and are #10. Auburn has a first year OC and is #110 in offense. Yeah i know, we have a young team. for the 4th year in a row. We are supposed to be on the same plane with all the upper tier teams in the SEC. TGIF everyone.

Yep. See Texas when they changed directions.

Spread, pro style or playground ball, if you can't complete a pass, you're probably going to lose.
