3. Toomer's Corner. You know, I just don't remember rolling the corner. I do recall celebrations. One that was memorable was the Saturday night in 1969 that Vandy upset UA. Everyone came out of their housing all over campus, gathered at Toomers and celebrated. Maybe we did roll it, I just can't remember. However, if we did roll Toomer's back in the 60s, it know that it was pretty infrequent.
I have mixed feelings about the Toomer's rollings these days. I guess I would feel more comfortable if the rollings were only after really big wins, instead of about any win. It almost reminds me of the days when tons of balloons would be released at games, but they stopped because it was resulting in litter when the balloons fell back to the earth.
Granted, Toomer's gets cleaned up and maybe all the waste and cleanup expense is worth it.
