so, only days after voting against allowing 4 year scholarships bama does a u-turn and now will hand em out. wow. didn't saban go on a tirade about how it was a bad idea and didn't like it? matter of fact wasn't auburn the only school in the whole state to vote in favor of the 4 year scholly?
Yep, guess the whole legal concern he had a few weeks ago has been resolved?? Truth is he was hearing about it from recruits on the trail and decided to do an about face, not because its the right thing to do but so he wouldn't
Lose any recruits. Guess what nick even your lapdogs in the media are beginning to take notice, how long do you think it will be before these kids and their parents do to??
His hypocrisy knows no bounds apparently

Your outside source.
Saban will still find a way to eliminate a 3rd stringer so he can sign another believer of his BS.
What's funny is the National Media will PRAISE him for it.......
Life Partners Forever.
The NCAA is slow to change but just like scholarship limits signalled the end of bahr's fringe inspired recruiting tactics this is the first step in lil nikki's demise as king of the mountain. I hope a stricter interpretation of medical hardship is soon to follow. Another novel idea would be some teeth in being on probation; no post-season if your on probation. This would require stronger requirements for probation so it would not be just a token statement. No more Double Secret Probation, make it mean something.
Today is a great day to love Auburn, a little better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
Auburn from day one.
I usually don't go over to bol, but I wanted to see what they were saying about this. I saw a thread started that said "so, now we're given 4 yr deals?", but I couldn't read it. I did notice too that they sure do copy a lot of what we say over here. Even the same jokes. Like the one someone started on here about "I don't usually talk to bama fans, but when I do..." So, whoever started that, you'll be glad to know they copied it.
We Comin'.....at some point....
Even with our 4-year deal, if a student does not succeed in the classroom, or gets into "off-field issues", the scholly can be revoked. In other words nicky will simply make them attend class when he is through with them, or "dis-missed for violating team rules". I do love the fact we forced his hand!
I'm an Auburn man and I'm darn proud of it!
This doesn't affect saban's tactics whatsoever. How many kids do you think stick around after saban sits them down and tells them they are never going to play and they'd be better off transferring?

Speaking of his BS, look at today's Tuscaloosa News sport section, if you really want to read a bunch of his BS.
i agree he will force some to take medical hardships and pressure others to transfer. i just find his hypocrisy sickening. one of my better friends is a bammer and he says that nick is a real nice guy away from football. i disagree with him. i was raised that unethical is unethical. it doesn't matter if its at your job or at your house. if youre a cheater then it doesnt matter where you do it. youre still the same person. our country is being ruined by people like this who think if its not illegal then its ok. it doesnt matter ethically or even if someone gets hurt. just look at wall street. its an anything it takes to win attitude. just like it is at bama. thank god im an auburn fan.
