$aban "process" exposed AGAIN

    "Concerns over violations with the Arnold Marlin football program have led to an investigation conducted by Bay District Schools. That report was released Wednesday.

    Some of the concerns were found to be valid.

    Specifically the driving of students across the bridge to Arnold in coaches personal vehicles.

    Now, the two coaches that were responsible left the program before Wednesdays scheduled meeting involving Arnold Principal Keith Bland, Arnold Athletic Director Julie Hale, Arnold Head Football Coach James Hale, Superintendent Bill Husfelt and Chief Operations Officer for Bay District Schools. Dr. John Haley.

    Superintendent husfelt told News 13 Wednesday that no other coaches jobs are at stake.

    The investigation into the Arnold football program was initiated due to complaints filed by parents.

    There were four main concerns raised to the district:

    1. Students receiving GIFT CARDS from coaches.

    2. Students being transported from Panama City to Panama City Beach by coaches

    in their private vehicles...

    3. Transportation and living arrangements for students participating in Arnold football

    program.

    4. Recruiting practices by several Arnold coaches.

    Dr. Haley said Wednesday concerns came in that needed to be addressed. They had to look at removing those potentially associated with the allegations, but they had already left.

    News 13 talked to Arnold Principal Keith Bland Wednesday afternoon, who said that Coach Hale is still the Head Football Coach at Arnold and that he stands 100-percent behind Coach Hale.

    Well, they do have a little history with ncaa violations and high school coaches. I think there is a pic out there showing $aban and Hale the HC. Hale is wearing an uat sweat shirt. His facebook list uat "baseball" as either his passion or hobby (not sure).

    There's a little smoke rising out of Panama City. It might be interesting to see what else comes from this investigation. Ftr, the most prized recruit of the '12 class from that high school inked with uat.

  • It is interesting info, but I don't know if you can even call this a rumor in regards to Alabama recruiting. What would the rumor even be?

    What if some coaches at Butler High School in North Carolina were fired for taking their players to the movies or paying for their stuff at a mall. Would we suddenly worry that Auburn coaches were somehow involved because we got Kris Frost from there? And if some Alabama fans inferred that, wouldn't we call them crazy and desperate?

    There has to at least be some teeny tiny connection of the wrongdoing to someone at Alabama. At this point I can't see any connection outside of the general idea that "they cheat and we all know it" mind-set. I would love to see Saban's name in all this, but it's a pretty big stretch that I'm afraid only an Auburn fan could connect.

  • I live in Panama City and this has nothing to do with saben. Williams was a freshman at another high school and then transfered to arnold. This isn't about williams but a belief by some that arnold enticed players to move and play for them. It is nothing to do with college football.

    During the Cam situation, lots of people were using the argument about "where's there's smoke"...

    If any fanbase shouldn't be able to tolerate that kind of supposition, it should be we members of the Auburn family because we've seen firsthand how unfair it is... Just my two cents...
