I know you will disagree Phillip, but you or someone you know does not like this kid. It's apparent to me that you or someone you know wants Zeke to fail. I don't get you at times. I am just tired of seeing kids fall from this team. Good or Bad I love them all in some way or another.

I understand Zeke has to meet all of CGC requirements, but if there is not any reasonable time table for him to meet these requirements and return then why not just KICK HIS ASS OFF THE TEAM and move on? CGC either thinks he can change the kid or he can cut bait and quit trying. I'll give it to the first day of class for Zeke to return before I'll have an opinion. His opportunity for 2012 is shot (by his own doing), but 2013 is an option (see M. Blakely) if he transfers now. If it is our coach's intention to RUN HIM (via transfer) verses KICKING HIM off the team, then I don't know if I am comfortable with that. I don't think it is fair to leave a kid hanging with the choice of possibly losing two years of playing time (2012 and 2013 because of transfer ineligibility). ZP has made mistakes, but should his future collegiately or professionally be destroyed by the Juvenile behavior of an 18-19 year old? I don't think it should.

To know so little, you pretend to know so much.

How long have you been waiting to use that line Bigun? Do you feel better?

I don't know what CGC expects from Zeke. He either wants him to rehab and come back or he wants the kid gone. If it is the latter, then he should cut the kid loose.
If Zeke sets one foot on the Auburn practice field this fall he is DONE with Division I Football until 2014 if he later transfers. Is CGC trying to make it easy for Zeke to quit. If so, then I make no apologizes. I don't like it.
Zeke quitting IMO does nothing for his rehab. By his own hand Zeke has put himself in this dilemma. He may need a hand that many do not want to extend. If you don't want the kid back then that's fine too.
I say show some compassion for the Kid.

PM's remarks about ZP are very obtuse (Annoyingly insensitive). This is why I have an opinion regarding his feelings towards Zeke. That's all.

Although its a shame to see talent wasted, I have been around Zeke, and don't get me wrong, he's a cool guy, but he has a bad attitude, demands attention, and thinks that he's untouchable. Chiz is giving him every chance to come back, but at the same time he doesn't need an attitude like that rubbing off on the entire team. Also doesn't surprise me that he got a public intox.... If he is good enough, wherever he lands, he will make a profession out of it, but the attitude that he has will eventually push him out of the pros regardless of talent level. Just ask Terrell Owens.

Zeke Pike is just another freshman. If he doesn't come back, it won't be any bigger than any story about any freshman who doesn't make it.

Well, in all fairness to the other side of the argument, when Zeke was originally sent home it was reported in USA Today and the Washington Post. Not sure if that's the case with every freshman.
