I was googling looking for news RE OC candidates and came across a message from someone referring to a UTube video showing "Alabama fan sexually assaulting LSU fan" after the game Monday night. I normally don't spend much time on the internet aside from my frequent visits to the AUC websites and processing my email. However, when I saw that headline I had to go check it out at UTube.

I quite simply have never seen a video like the one referenced above in my life. I hope the New Orleans District Attorney and police dept. have viewed and analyzed this disgusting video and are looking for ways to track this guy down and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. Previously, I guess the worst things I've heard about that football fans have done beyond engaging in hurling verbal insults back and forth and the occasional fist fight in the stands were 1) LSU fans knocking over a port o potty while it was occupied by a visiting GA on game day and 2) one which I have first hand knowledge, my youngest daughter was spat upon by LSU fans in their stadium when she was walking to the concession stand during the game when she was a student at AU. I'll never forget the call from her - she was sobbing and in between the sobs exclaimed "Daddy, he looked a lot like you, nicely dressed middle aged clean cut guy. I was flabbergasted!"

But I digress. This video is disgusting in so many ways and a criminal act, as well. I hope nothing like this ever happens again and I hope the LSU fan is able to identify the AL fan and, in addition to criminal charges, I hope he sues him (if it's possible to sue for anything surrounding this incident) .
