Two:

Went with my female roommate(who was dating my male roommate) to listen to some band and three guys started hitting on her. I sort of half laughed at them and half told them to get lost and all three decided they wanted to fight, or at least make me think they wanted to fight. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and I didn't get jumped on. My co-worker, Tracy Rocker, witnessed it, without my knowledge, and when I saw him about ten minutes later he told me if they gave me a problem again we'd take care of it. That will make a fella BRAVE. No more problems from those guys.

Watched Jefferson Starship, or what was left of them, in about Dec. of '92. Mickey Thomas was the lead singer and had retained the rights to the name of the band. I think a couple of the other original bandmembers(Thomas was the second lead singer, and not the singer for Jefferson Airplane) played also, but I'm not sure about that. For those that don't know, Thomas sang the lead on the Elvin Bishop's Band's "Fooled Around and Fell in Love." He was not given credit on the album but it's certainly him singing. And he can sing. HUGE difference between the quality of his voice and what you normally hear playing at the Supper Club. He played Jefferson Airplane and Starship songs and he was great. His brother-in-law owned Eagle Budweiser in Opelika and I think that's how they hooked him up with the Supper Club.
