what op is thinking about is we only signed 20 so we get to sign up to 30 players in 2013, well if we have the spots open then by the rules of the sec we can sign those 30 but if theres no room then we cant do it . so op we have been approved by the sec to sign 25 +5 in 2013 if we have the room.we have to stay under the 85 limit. now those players dont count against the 85 until they start classes so I hope all 20 of them start classes. well 4 of them have already started

Does anyone see any Juniors next year leaving for NFL. I know its early but any thoughts? And what was article in paper couple weeks ago about AU having highest attrition rate or something along those lines? I didnt get a chance to follow up but remember it being all over radio and was suprised (I know Fab 4 were included)

Unless one of these juniors explodes I cant see any of them leaving early. Lemonier currently weights between 235-245lbs which is not close to NFL size.

There's no way to tell what the exact number is going to be yet, we might not even get to sign that many so to say it definitively is not right. You are probably pretty close to what the number will be, but we would have to lose 7 kids to be able to take 22 which is a good deal of attrition for one year.

We could not have signed all those players. 85 means 85. Count them any way you want to. We always recruit more than we can sign. If all those prospects had chosen Auburn, we would have had to turn some of them away.

That is fine of course for you to have an opinion, but that means we would have to run off 8-11 players in year 4 of the Chiz era. That's just not going to happen, maybe in year 1 of a new coach but that's about the only time that's going to happen. We are not going to start "processing" players like the little one, it's very obvious that Chizik has MUCH more class and integrity than that. This is also very evident due to the 4 year scholarships we are offering, you can't process players when you are offering a full ride for 4 years. Read some of the articles already this year, kids saw what satan did to Justin Taylor and we are using it against them, just like every other school in the SEC will use it who is recruiting against spuat this year.
