Is the yearly limit for FBS schools still 25 with an 85 total?
I as this since I noticed that UGA has 27(maybe 28) commits and TAM has 28. If they still have over 25(or enough so the total is over 85) on signing day, what happens to the ones who sign letters of intent that are not accepted by the university? Can they sign somewhere else without having to sit out a year?
If they didn't sign 25 last year, they can sign early enrollees and count them back to last year. They can't go over 25 for either year. They can't be over 85 when the new guys show up on campus. So, they can have some attrition between now and August when most of their new classes show up to keep them at or below 85.
