Personally, I would not touch him with a 10 foot pole. There are consistent themes with his character that I could not ignore.

However, I'll put this to the board:

Assume that Joker Phillips will be gone after this season. UK has already sold its soul in hiring Calipari as their basketball coach which they're fine with since he's winning. Since they've crossed the Rubicon with Calipari, I wonder if they would make a play for Petrino as a head coach. It might be too soon but they didn't have any issues in hiring Calipari with all the rumors surrounding his Memphis program.

Just sayin'--Someone will take a chance on him but it may take another year or two or three--depending on how desparate folks are to win.

I am so thankful that Auburn did not end up with him as our coach. So thankful!

I agree completely with this. I think UK should hire Petrino just to shake up the dynamic in the SEC East. Could you imagine Kentucky actually becoming a relevant power? Good god.
