At the end of last year we had 8 wins. As it is we are probably going to have half that maybe 5 wins with a few lucky bounces. I do believe we are headed the wrong direction but I hope this loss spurs the coaches into making some drastic changes. If we are going to lose like this we may as well allow some young guys to take lumps and get up to speed.

Who will beat MSU besides bama and lsu?? Arky has the best shot, but I still don't think they will be anything like a top 20 team. UT or TAMU has the next best chance but that's a push at best right now. Plus all 3 I just mentioned are in Starkville. 10-2 is a real possibility for MSU right now, and their QB will only improve over the next few weeks before they hit the meat of their schedule.

No! Auburn is not on the way up! They are only climbing higher to make the fall all the more spectacular. Great recruiting and bad coaching never hang around each other very long. I just hope the bad coaching exits first.

No way we will be 10 times better. I'll take just as good at this point and be 100% happy.

I will tell CGC to shove it if he told me to stay this course. He is being paid $3.5 million. He needs to fix it now or be gone. The way I see it, it would be cheaper and a whole lot less painful to pay his 7.5 million buyout than to pay him 7million over the next two seasons to avoid it.

When CGC's team stops playing like pansies, then I'll suck it up. I don't need any more time to know that CGC is not the right coach for Auburn. Our players deserve better leadership to ever get to another Crystal Ball. Nice guy. Bad coach. I just hope we can find a way to keep some of the better assistants.

I agree absolutely with the original post. All we do is react to talk radio, the bammer media, and out inferiority complex. Guys, the hell with the grumps worry about Auburn. We have depth but aren't there yet in key positions such as QB and LB. if we can't compete by the time LSU and the pigs come around I will be surprised. I said compete not win, though I think we will have pork this year. Anyone who wants Bobby P as coach needs to rethink. Chiz has class and I expect, no demand class at Auburn.

While I am on my soapbox I believe ESPN and CBS want, think they need, the elites to be on top every year. We are not anointed nor will we be so it is an uphill battle. If the aforementioned media mavens get their way college football will wither and die. The political correct crowd will see to that and if only a few programs are allowed to succeed there will not be a broad base of fans to fight the political correct crowd and sustain the sport....get ready to love soccer.
