The players that stood out to me were Frazier, Blakely, Mason (on his one run), Pike, Prosch, Dee Ford and Owens. The player that did not impress me that much was Coats. Jake Holland needs to get better at the point of attack. He does not drive through the man, he gets into position and accepts the hit as opposed to delivering the hit. It is great to see some depth at the LB position. Swain is one big guy.

This team has talent but it has got a long way to go. I believe to affectively run this new offensivve system we will live and die by the ofensive line. I know that it is obvious but due to our lack of a power tailback to drive three extra yards after the point of contact, the OL will have to be very good for us to be successful. We have the talent but I still think we are one year away.

I'm not sure why a lot of the AU beat writers are all over Jake Holland as being special, i just don't see it so far, but I'd love to be wrong.
