Looking to buy a disposable cell phone for the football season since ATT is useless in Auburn on Gameday. Has anyone had trouble with Verizon or others?
I have Verizon and they added towers a few years ago and upgraded them in the last year. I have little problem, except for texts sometimes, and that may be cured with the upgrades.

I've been lucky with Sprint. Calls and texts have never been an issue @ JHS. Just avoid T-Mobile. Their service generally sucks if your more than a mile from an interstate.

Verizon is usually very good while in Auburn and inside JHS - just realize that there are probably 75,000 mobile phones in that stadium all trying to get a signal at the same time with 2-4 carriers, so even with land-line repeaters and other tech the phone companies can employ, that is still pushing the limits of the system.

It makes no difference. When you put that many people together trying to call out/in to the same square mile. You are going to have difficulty getting a call through.
Oh no he didn't
Never had a problem with T-Mobil at JH (or anywhere for that matter) - and now I pay $49 / mo for unlimited calls, text and web. Seriously, you need to check your bill. The old lady used to have Verizon, but saw the great service I have all over the state - so she switched to T-Mobil, also.
