Now...after the formalities are out of the way....take them out to the Barbecue House the next night. It will beat any of the other places, but its definitely not "Formal Business".
Arricia Is also good I have eaten there many times in the last year when in Auburn on business.

Irish Bred Pub in Downtown Opelika has the best food and the best atmosphere in the Auburn-Opelika area. Get there early it is packed by 5:30
Orange and Blue like the Auburn sky, War Eagle till the day I die.
Amsterdams it is... Lol. But party of five turned into party of 15... LOL..
That may be tough. I may be wrong but I don't think they take reservations and it is usually crowded in the evenings. Have a backup plan.
We got in.... It was great. I had the duck but the ribeye was a great steak.
Do they still have the wooden table games, and are they still located next to the bike shop. I remember having a lot of fun there.
Mandarin House, not the buffet side, is my favorite... hands down.
Warehouse Bistro is a close second, if you like an Alabama take on French food--their wine is pretty fine too.
Amsterdam is it if you're near campus.
