Hailtons is my favorite. fried green tomatoes and grilled shrimp for an appetizer, wedge salad, and chicken provencal. That's what I used to get every monday night.

Amsterdam is definitely one of the best places to eat. Irish Bred Pub on 9th and Rail in downtown Opelika is casual, but also good food.

Amsterdam is # 1. On Gay right behind the Gulf on Samford. The restaurant in the hotel is very good too. Haven't been to Hamilton's recently but was very good and popular.

I havent been back to Auburn in a few years so dont kill me if I am a bit out of touch.....I recall a lot of fine dining at the Waffle House right next to the Supper Club. I personally recommend starting at the Supper Club and then ending up at the Waffle House, the smothered and covered hash browns are delicious!
