Bryan, does Kwon not care that Bama and LSU each already have 5-6 linebackers committed? Why wouldn't he want to be one of 3 LBs with AU under our new DC?

That could certainly be a factor in his recruitment but right now, I'm told that LSU has a slight lead. That could certainly change. Auburn coaches met with him Friday and will stay in close contact through Signing Day.

The LB numbers are fine. Auburn just wanted two in this class. Auburn only loses one senior LB in Freeman and redshirted three last fall.
Alexander would just be a very good addition if they can add him.

Curious questions. Why do you think Auburn has only one LB they might consider besides Kwon? And why aren’t you a little more optimistic on Goldman or Armistead? Is it that you would rather be surprised than to speculate on a commit from either of these two 5 stars, or do you think we are that much of a longshot?

Auburn only need two LB's in this class and has two very good commitments in McKinzy and Mitchell. I think it's very, very close with Goldman but still give FSU a slight edge with Maryland making a strong run. I think Armstead stays out West but certainly haven't ruled Auburn out.

If my predictions turn out correct, which is highly unlikely, then it would be Darby and Diggs. I happen to think Leonard Williams is going to be special too.
