2003, with Marquis Daniels, Derrick Bird, Marco Killingsworth, Brandon Robinson, Nate Watson, et al, went to the Sweet 16. Lost by a score to eventual champs Syracuse (Melo's team---and we played them in Albany, NY, basically a home game for the Orange).
Lebo's second to last year was a strong team. 10-6 in the SEC. Conference was perceived as weak, though, so they settled the the NIT. Second most overall wins in Auburn history.
