Could not agree more. Jacobs is the one that needs to go soon. The overall state of Auburn athletics, is the worst I have seen in about 30 years. I am refering to the big 3 sports. Forget about football, what are the excuses for baseball and basketball being so bad for so long? He has done a fantastic job in facilities upgrades to be fair. But performance and results are poor.

Cam won us a NC two years ago not Jacobs and clearly not Chizik. It's painfully obvious who made the halftime speeches that year to keep the team in the game late. There is very little heart on this team.

So that makes him an even worse AD for wasting money on that brand new arena doesn't it.

If the coach isn't there to motivate and keep the kids up and in the game then what do we pay him for? Cam kept the team in games by his play and his words. Since he's been gone I haven't seen a single game played with the same intensity as 2010. Some of you need to realize I am loyal to AU not to a coach at AU.

So your 20 seconds of Chizik talking during halftime proves he did it all season? Gotcha. Cam is what took our team to the promise land Chizik was just on board for the ride. Tell me in any other year Chiz was here how many real leaders have we had? That's on Chizik for not developing these guys into leaders.

I love when I get downvoted but no one responds. It's easier to sneer than to prove someone wrong I guess, in this case especially since you guys have no answer to provide to the question.

Help me understand how giving a one player credit for winning a national championship is realistic when it took and organization.

Then please tell me since Jacobs isn't getting the job done who we should replace him with and why.

After that please explain who is best to take over the coaching helm at Auburn at the offensive/defensive direction we should then take. Address when this new coach should come in and how to ensure we will keep the top 10 recruiting class that Chizik and his staff recruited, not to mention the players who Chizik and his staff have recruited.

If you aren't part of the solution you are part of the problem. That's a true statement and the first move IMO is to clean house. CPD, JJ, CGC, etc. As far as replacements how about someone like Chris Del Conte? Currently the AD for TCU. He is already over a christian school so that panders to the believers in our fanbase.

To replace Chizik, I personally like Petrino. I know it would have some resistance but Chizik met resistance too.

I could care less about what a coach does in his personal life. I want someone who will keep our players out of trouble and win ball games. I want someone known as an X&O coach.
We can put a couple recruiters on staff but we need some developers. I would say keep Grimes, Luper, and Boulware if they will stay. Trooper is a great guy, but he hasn't developed anyone. We hear how great they are off season and then nothing once the pads are on. I wonder about Thigpen as well our S weren't very good under him and our LBs are not very good under him too. Pelton just straight up isn't getting it done.
