Hey guys,
I don't post much, but I read alot of the stuff on these boards and thought I would throw my two cents in. A lot of smoke being thrown out there to misdirect things, but from someone I know (college coach), the rumor is Jimbo frontrunner(NOT A DONE DEAL YET), deal could get leaked out on Sunday. This is no better than anyone elses guess, but this guy was dead on about some things all the way from the Mississppi State game. I think some of Jimbo's staff is a big plus for Jimbo's chances. Anyways I could be as wrong as everyone else but I thought I would pass this along.

I wouldn't be unhappy with him as the hire but he is my #2 choice. Thanks for the info

I was higher on him earlier. He lost Stoops and Coley and may lose Gran.... That worries me quite a bit...

That would be horrible, he is a medicore coach, his 10 wins are a joke, beat 2 teams that won at least six games, only top 25 teams he played both moved the ball at will, scored 37 points each and gained over 450 yards of offense, sound familiar, we have already seen this movie, most over rated coach in American, SEC West will chew his ass up, please god don't let this goober become our coach! Record against top 25, 3 and 6, in three years only played 9 games against top 25 teams, Auburn faced 7 this year alone at the time of the game, this guy is not ready for the big time.

I could live with Jimbo, especially if he brings D. Craig with him. I would love for Eddie Gran to come along as well. If not, maybe Jimbo would keep Trooper on as RB coach (did that for a while at UT). Craig and Trooper would make for some AUsome recruiting classes.
Wondering who Jimbo might have as a DC. Any thoughts?

I really hope that's not a possibility. BVG ain't all we made him out to be. "He had the guys believing early on but lost interest himself which was obvious to those who played for him...he gave up on us"(paraphrasing but a quote from a player). Considering that and what I already knew about him from his time at UGA and GSU, I hope he never walks our sidelines again. Auburn it seems, was a convenient out for him this year.

Yeah .. this may seem trivial but I know that BVG's family stayed in ATL this year and that they had two houses. I know he just got the job but it always made me feel like he was testing the waters before making the all in jump to the new job. I guess in retrospect he can just move back home in ATL now after making a cool million last year putting out a product that I could have probably done.

And that he wants out of FSU fast, I heard they are in the "red" athletically and they will soon become academically like Notre Dame and harder to get in...just what I heard as well
