FEEL THE POWER OF THE SEC!!!!
The SEC is by far the best all around conf in the land. I dont care how many usless stats the other confs throw at us. IT seems to me they clain each individuals national championship IE we had 20 track kids win the natty in their category.....The SEC counts it BY TEAM... and still crushes the competition.
SEC SEC SEC POWERHOUSE!!!!!!!!

Don't really know what qualifiers were used for the 74 as I was just quoting a local sportscaster and have not brothered to look up any stats, but:
There have been twelve SEC schools for the twelve years since 2000 and I'm sure I'll overlook some sports; however, football, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, track & field, vollyball, equestrian, soccer & gymnastics come quickly to mind with some having both women and men's teams.
So, assume as a minimum 12 sports, 12 teams, 12 years = 1728 champions so I don't see 74 out of 1728 or 6.16 out of 144 as being too farfetched.
Whatever, I sure hope a lot more of 'em end up at the loveliest village in the next twelve years!
WDE, GO BIG BLUE!
