After the finish of the game Saturday night I made a post about "we now have a team and being proud to be an Auburn Tiger". The post was my observation & my AU pride. It is guaranteed this was a team effort or the outcome would have been drastically changed.
That post was very promptly countered with a post stating "we now have half a team"
I don't even remember who made the post, or care, or know about that individual but I didn't see anyone in orange and blue that I felt was slacking off. The defense Played closer to AU standards than I have seen in well over a year. The offense, although not setting the woods on fire, played a game which would have given AU a very significant win had even one one of several plays gone our way.
Ant's with no real intellect and crude communication can accomplish tremendous feats just by utilizing team work.
We have a group of men that have a very strong talent base and a group of highly qualified (and paid) coaches whose job it is to turn them into a team. IMHO given support and the time (sooner than later) to become a 'whole' team it will happen and the rest of the SEC will rue the day they wrote off the AUBURN TIGERS as a flash in the pan.
That's my rant for the day & WAR DAMN EAGLE! I believe we are on the way back!
