Lost my dad a year ago. Remember all the games you went to together and whatever y'all enjoyed doing. And this is going to happen, you will feel relieved that you don't have to go to the hospital and his treatments and be there doing things for him. Don't feel guilty, it's a natural thing. Don't beat yourself up. Also, don't for a second feel bad about wanting him at peace.

I have been there, and it still hurts. My father died from pancreatic cancer before he ever reached 50 years old. All you can do is be there, and feel no guilt for wishing him to be free. Share the memories of the good times - they will last forever.
May God grant your father freedom from pain and you and your family peace.

My mom died from pancreatic cancer at 53 (way to young). It was brutal and even though 9 years ago still fresh.
My thoughts are with you.
