I went through the same thing with my daddy and his battle with lung cancer. I feel your pain. The suffering is extremely hard to deal with. It's not easy and I still think about it 3 years later. All you can do is be there to comfort him anyway you can with medication and love. Best wishes to you and your family

My wife and I brought her dad to our home to die the Sunday before the 2010 nc game. He had heart failure and asked to be able to die at our home but refused to die until the game was over. Morning after the game he woke up asked who won and I told him auburn and he smiled and waved to us and went home to his Lord Jesus. Never forget the experience.

Same here. My dad died from lung cancer in 1997. Never smoked. He was a '43 graduate of Auburn and a great Auburn man. Nothing easy about watching the suffering. My prayers go out to all that suffer from this dreaded disease.
