  • Thoughts of CGC being fired before season's end are not realistic. I am not defending him, just pointing out the obvious(well to me at least). We are talking about 2.5 MILLION dollars here. IF a change is made, it will not come until after December 1 as to save on the buyout. Furthermore, I am all but positive that his buyout would be a little different depending on the outcome of this Jovon Robinson investigation, of which we have heard little or nothing. Face it, the all mighty dollar is not just in play here, but is the most important component of this entire situation. It is really tough to be an auburn tiger right now, but War Eagle!

    No reason not to take immediate action for those above him though......that will at least provide a sense of hope!

  • I agree with you about the timing. However, if you think money is an issue, you are kidding yourself. How much money in bad hot dog and coke sales do you think the school has lost in the past couple of games and for the upcoming game alone. This move costs the football program more every day. I am guessing a number of boosters purse string have tightened as well.....

    Talked to a player last nit after the game. The position coaches have told the players that Chizik is "resigning"!! Remember Tubby resigned. Just a compassionate way to say he was fired!!!
