Good grief man, can stop ruining every thread you touch? There were TEN straight peaceful, positive, genuine posts in support of the players to start this thread. Then you came in guns a blazin', as usual, and now this post (mine) is the NINTH about YOUR post.

Give it a MAJOR rest. And do one other thing too....make a genuine effort to recognize the difference in "diparaging or downright hateful comments" and people simply saying we aren't a good football team. There is a HUGE difference. You can even say our coaches don't seem to know what they're doing. That isn't hateful. You can say we played terrible, we're not physical enough, our offense is the worst in the history of sports.....etc. NONE of these things are hateful or insulting. They are honest observations of the performance of a football team.

When you are a football player, you stand a chance of having our performance evaluated by the fans. It's possible to be playing bad football and still be a 100% awesome person. 99% of the people on this site are opining about the players performance, not their character, not their morals, not their intelligence, not their personality, not their race....only their performance as a football player. The VAST majority of the time, people are not attacking the players or coaches as people.

In my opinion, you can't handle that emotionally or mentally. It causes deep, deep (way too deep) anguish for you to hear people be critical of our players or coaches when they are, by all practical measures, failing at their jobs. For your own well being, mental health, and spiritual peacefulness, I suggest you log off and take up a new hobby.

That's my honest, caring suggestion....just as an observer. Football message boards aren't for you. And it's not because everyone here is so evil and heartless. It's because you are hyper-sensitive to anything short of all-out unconditional and blind praise. And it's because you can't seem to separate critical discussion of the PERFORMANCE of people and critical discussion of the ACTUAL people.

If you do stick around, at least reserve your rants for when someone actually might be literally insulting a player or coach as a person. No need to bring the rants into a thread that is specifically about SUPPORTING the players.
