I am a '76 graduate of Auburn University and did not know "Bodda Getta" until I joined the board. I think it is uniquely Auburn. I like "All In" better, but that is just a one year slogan. Now that I know "Bodda Getta," I kind of like it for the name of the message board.
Nothing is as quaint and to the point, yet confusing to the opposition, as "War Eagle!" I love how the Dawgs and Gators I know try to get to me by saying things like, "What are you guys, anyways? Tigers, Eagles, Plainsmen, etc." However, I would not want a message board named "War Eagle."
I absolutely do NOT like "Winners." It is correct now, but will be presumptuous in the future. (I know, we are "winners" whether we win the NC or just two games, but from an outsider looking in, I stand by my previous statement.)
I still do not understand why the name was changed in the first place, and I read nearly everything on this board every day.
Whatever the final result, I'll still be here. I love the place, I love Phillip and Bryan's work, and am beginning to like Ron's work rather well. (See Ron, the jury is still out on you until this Board naming thing is concluded
