Sorry, I don't get to read all the posts, but what is Chette's status? I am guessing he will stay since his salary comes from donations, I believe. Just hope for the players sake he stays.

My understanding is that Chette is paid from funds other than those from the athletic department (maybe from FCA?) I guess it would just be up to Gus as to whether or not he felt like Chette was an asset to his program. I suspect Chette will be retained.

Chette is in charge of all things ministry related for Auburn. He's employed by the University as well as the team chaplain.

I would assume that he is staying based on the previous posts. I also saw him in the luxury box next to me at the Super 6 games thursday and friday sporting his AU gear.
