    ****Icons - Near the end of last week we added a couple icons to the boards. Here’s a quick explanation:

    * Article icon with arrow: Let’s the user know this post contains a story link written by the site.
    * VIP
    - When on the topic listing: Let’s the user know the originating post in this thread is for members only
    - When seen on an individual post: Let’s the user know this post is premium.

    ****We expect to begin heavy testing of our Mobile 1.0 site very soon. The first version will include boards, articles and homepage.

    ****This week, the tech team will take some time to look at improving site stability and speed while adding a few more features.

    ****Of the 15 boards currently on the 247Sports Network, AuburnUndercover.com finished 6th last week in pageviews.

  • I assume that for most posts it would be a good idea to make it VIP? There's no need in lurkers from other teams being able to see our posts right? Wouldn't it be easier to make the default be for members only and then make the poster click to allow non-members to view?

    No, we want them open unless they're premium. That way, they posts can be shared on FB and Twitter if there's something interesting.
