That's a bit harsh. I mean if he really feels like their offense is a better fit for him, I understand he has to do what he thinks is best for him. But IMO, OJ is waiting to see how Loefflers TE's are used throughout the season, and if he likes it, he will be playing for Auburn in the future.

Pull his offer and cut off his tickets until he de-commits. I think all schools need to follow this policy. Only academic visits with parents and closed door coaches chats for players committed elsewhere. These kids tie up way too much assets for more deserving kids.
I also believe all committable offers need to be registered with the SEC office and all athletes seeking financial aid need to be registered with the SEC and NCAA office. No more jerking around by the school and recruit. It is as crazy as being allowed to vote without registering or having a valid ID. The corruption needs to stop and this is a simple way to hold all accountable.

I disagree and here's why. If a situation like bobby Petrino happens, kids shouldn't have to be stuck with that. While many kids do just look for free visits and fun, many of those kids are also just playing it smart and giving themselves other options in case the coaching staff they committed to falls apart, etc. It's not like college recruiting is the only situation where commitment isn't always forever. Bobby Petrino providing me with many examples here. He committed to his wife, not to ever have relations with another women, yet he decommitted from that. Bottom line, your ideas just wouldnt be fair to the kids.
However, an idea that could work, is an optional early signing period. Where the kids who are fully committed to a school, regardless of who the coaching staff is, could make things official.
