True story. I went to Academy yesterday afternoon to buy a couple of cheap long sleeve sweater shirts as I'm going to the cooler west coast in the next few weeks. Just omething to bum around in. Pulled into a space in the parking lot and parked by another auto that had an AU tag. When walking away I looked back and thought.. how cool .....two AU tags side by side. Went in to Academy with my AU T-shirt on...couple of folks walked by, smiled and said "War Eagle". I didn't find what I was looking for so I walked back to my car and, low and behold, there were two more autos with AU tags parked on either side of mine and the original car. Four in a row!! Looked around and saw a few more AU tags scattered close by in the parking lot. To my surprise ..not a single uat tag. Well, Walmart is on the way back to my office so I thought I would drop in and see if they had what I was looking for. Drove up the drive by the Walmart front door and stopped at the crosswalk to let some people walk across. Seven people were walking across....all in Bama gear. I watched like a lion surveying a heard of Water Buffalo. Two young kids with bammer shorts on that came down to their ankles. Two men with dirty, torn bammer caps (one with a bammer t-shirt), and three women with bama t-shirts on....XXX L size as you can imagine. Guess they were all together. Took them about ten minutes to waddle across the crosswalk. I just drove on back to my office. I couldn't bare to go in and discover what else was inside.

There are some great folks who are Bama fans though....I've seen em'
My girlfriend is one of those "great" bama fans that are so rare to find. But she will be yelling War Eagle and bleeding orange and blue after she witnesses kickoff in Atlanta!
