***Mason said he wasn't surprised that Jonathan Wallace was named the starter. He said Wallace has great work habits. He said he'll suport anyone that is in the backfield with him.

***Mason said Wallace is a little different with his hard work ethic. He said Wallace was over here the day after he fumbled working in the blaster with no pads on.

"Nobody does that," Mason said.

***Mason said Wallace came in ready to go and he has a calm demeanor. Mason said the whole team recognizes his hard work.

"He has the mindset of a senior and someone that's been here a while," he said.

***Mason said a lot of the young players on the team are hungry and stepping up.

***Mason said Wallace is capable of bringing great leadership and he's a great playmaker.
