What ticks me is that Ole Harvey (Updyke) is going to get away with the very damaging and dangerous act he commited. These "mental evaluations" and changing of lawyers every time a trial is near has already bought him more time than he deserves. I feel strongly that if some idiot poisoned the landscaping around Denny Chimes or UGA's famed hedges they would already be under the jail. And they should be.

I understand that soil samples have indicated that the poison used has actually spread some distance toward Samford Hall and has affected some shurbs away from the Toomer's Trees. Anyone in the know got more information?

Oh, heck, it just hit me. Where was Harvey around 3:30 this morning?! [Yes, I am convinced he IS that buried in hating all things Auburn and he is that stupid.]

The live oaks about 100 feet back toward Samford Hall from the corner are looking pretty ragged to me and have had several branches removed. I don't know if it's the poison but that would be a pretty good distance.
